Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory therapy to neonatal and pediatric patients in a Level IV NICU setting.
  • Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and vital signs regularly.
  • Utilize high frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators effectively.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and respiratory interventions accurately using Epic system.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and emergency department settings.
  • Current NC RRT license required; compact license acceptable.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
  • Experience with high frequency jet ventilators, oscillating ventilators, and pediatric cardiac anomalies.
  • Proficient in using Epic charting system for documentation.
  • Flexibility to work 6 weekend shifts per schedule block.
