Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy to neonatal and pediatric patients in a Level IV NICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and vital signs regularly.
- Utilize high frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and respiratory interventions accurately using Epic system.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and emergency department settings.
- Current NC RRT license required; compact license acceptable.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
- Experience with high frequency jet ventilators, oscillating ventilators, and pediatric cardiac anomalies.
- Proficient in using Epic charting system for documentation.
- Flexibility to work 6 weekend shifts per schedule block.
