Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services, OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures with cardiac experience required to scrub all open heart procedures.
Prepare surgical instruments and equipment necessary for surgical procedures.
Collaborate with surgical team members in maintaining a sterile field during surgery.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide instruments and supplies as needed.
Perform thorough counts of instruments, sponges, and needles with circulating nurse.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during surgical operations.

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required.
Washington license or Compact license required at the time of submission.
2 years of experience in a similar role required.
Experience in utilizing Epic charting system preferred.
Certified by NBSTSA and/or ASATT desired.
Must possess recent cardiac surgery experience for hardstop qualification.
