Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations for patients of varying ages.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing best practice methodologies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using the Epic charting system.
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and care plans.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
Qualifications
- Current CA license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience working with adult rehabilitation preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
