Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care in Level 3 NICU, ensuring expertise with neonatal oscillating vents.
• Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed, participating in all relevant units.
• Follow shift schedules: 3x12 night shifts, every other weekend, and additional holiday shifts as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes for neonatal patients.
• Educate and orientate students and new hires when necessary.
• Comply with documentation and charting requirements using EPIC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, including Level 1 trauma.
• Must possess current CRT or RRT certification and Connecticut state license.
• Experience with Draeger vents and neonatal oscillating vents required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory, with additional certifications like ACLS preferred.
• Prior travel experience is mandatory.
• Flexibility to float and adapt to various hospital settings as needed.
