Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and manage related medications, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Provide comprehensive care and management of central lines and implanted ports.
- Perform accurate patient assessments and document within the Epic charting system.
- Educate patients and families regarding oncology treatments and management of side effects.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care and treatment planning.
- Maintain infection control standards and adhere to facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Active RN license and BLS certification (AHA required)
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required
- A minimum of 2-3 years of outpatient oncology nursing experience
- Proficient with Epic electronic health records and charting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- BSN degree is required
