Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams.
• Coordinate activities with interrelated hospital departments, including scheduling exams and ensuring accurate billing information.
• Assist cardiologists by preparing and measuring M-modes and exchanging pertinent information.
• Maintain quality control of equipment operations and coordinate repair services as needed.
• Log patients and exams, and file patient records promptly.
• Participate in performance improvement activities at multiple levels within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a two-year allied health education program preferred.
• A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible; State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License required.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Manual dexterity to perform echocardiograms and ability to work under stress.
• Two years of experience performing echocardiograms preferred.
