Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Stepdown/Med Surg unit with a staffing ratio of 1:3 on Stepdown and 1:5-6 on the floor.
• Titrate drips appropriately, including Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone.
• Collaborate with house supervisors and nurse aides to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize RT equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow systems effectively.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips as monitored at the Ruby facility.
• Adhere to a rotating holiday schedule and maintain weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with submission within 50-mile radius compliance.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory (AHA preferred).
• Proven Stepdown experience with strong skills in patient monitoring.
• Competence in using EPIC charting systems for patient documentation.
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts with no call or floating requirements.
• Professionalism in a royal blue scrub uniform adhering to dress code policies.
