Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse MedSurg patient population.
• Administer medications, including set rate drips like heparin and bumex.
• Monitor patient vitals, perform EKGs, and manage patient care tech activities.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists for patient management involving equipment such as Bipap and Cpap.
• Adapt to floating and shift pull rotations as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with eligibility to submit to state licensure requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent MedSurg experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend, as scheduled.
• Willingness to work in flexibility to fill scheduling gaps and meet holiday rotation requirements.
• Professionalism in adhering to dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs.
