Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging - MRI Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Provide patient care and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate GE Short bore MRI equipment and assess image quality throughout scans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the Cerner charting system.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required, ensuring a 30-minute response time.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards relevant to MRI operations.
Qualifications
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license.
- Certification in MRI (ARRT - MR) and Radiologic Technology (ARRT - R).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech with references within the past 3 years.
- Experience with GE Short bore software 24x is preferred.
- Optional qualifications: ARRT (CT) certification and Fluoro permit.
