Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level I Trauma Center ICU setting.
• Perform and manage critical patient care procedures while maintaining precise records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in SIMs Lab for competency in sterile field and procedures such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing.
• Float to various units including ICU, MS, and Tele as needed, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Maintain strong communication with intensivists, especially during high-acuity and bedside procedures.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the ability to submit applications as required.
• BLS and ACLS certification, CCRN preferred.
• Experience in a high-acuity ICU setting including CVICU preferred.
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR and strong IV skills required.
• Capability to meet a weekend requirement of 3 shifts every 4 weeks, with participation in holiday rotation.
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam and SIMs Lab on day 1 of orientation.
