Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified MRI Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans accurately, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Float between L&M and Westerly Hospital as needed to meet staffing requirements.
- Utilize EPIC for charting, maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with radiology and rapid response teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Operate Siemens 1.5T and GE 3T MRI machines proficiently.
- Adhere to all infection control protocols, including isolation precautions and PPE use.
Qualifications
- ARRT MR certification and BLS required; state licenses not necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI tech experience preferred; prior Level I or travel experience accepted.
- Experience with EPIC charting system required.
- Previous work in a community hospital and short-term acute care setting preferred.
- Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
- Weekend and holiday rotation required, with flexible scheduling opportunities.
