Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with diverse diagnoses including orthopedic and neurologic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet therapeutic goals for acute care patients.
• Provide effective patient and family education on home exercise programs and rehabilitation strategies.
• Utilize electronic health record systems, such as Epic, to document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care planning and discharge strategies.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring compliance with facility infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Oklahoma.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional physical therapy experience required; acute care experience preferred.
• Proficiency in using Epic electronic health records for documentation.
• Strong skills in wound/ulcer assessment and breathing techniques.
• COVID-19 vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted.
