Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer aerosol therapy, including setup and instructions for mask and trach patients.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports between departments.
• Perform intubation assistance and extubation under the guidelines of healthcare facilities.
• Manage NICU-specific respiratory needs, including Bubble CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula use.
• Conduct capillary blood gas analysis and interpretation of arterial blood gases.
• Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of respiratory care equipment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RRT license.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and NPS (Neonatal Pediatric Specialty Certification).
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting systems is essential.
• Must have experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similar environment.
• Ability to float between like units as needed within skill set.
