Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate various airway management devices, including extubation and assisting with intubations.
• Administer respiratory medications such as Albuterol and Atrovent in accordance with physician orders.
• Perform ventilator management duties, including initiating and troubleshooting BiPAP, CPAP, and high-frequency oscillators.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within the EPIC charting system.
• Provide thorough assessments for neonates, pediatrics, and adolescent patient populations.
• Float to various units as required, ensuring adaptable and responsive patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Washington state respiratory license required.
• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including NICU experience.
• Valid certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT.
• Proficiency in EPIC systems is mandatory.
• Experience with Draeger and Servo I ventilators is essential.
• Willingness to accept first-time traveler assignments and work variable weekends.
