Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to NICU patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, and high-frequency oscillation.
• Conduct airway management procedures such as extubation and tracheostomy care.
• Perform medication administration for respiratory conditions including inhaled steroids and bronchodilators.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and adjust treatment plans.
• Support floating to other campuses and assist with various patient age groups.

Qualifications

• Active WA state Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy with NICU experience preferred.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT required.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system and arterial blood gas interpretation.
• Ability to handle pediatric and adult critical care situations effectively.
• Professional knowledge in ventilator systems, including Draeger and Servo I.
