Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and record initial assessments, establishing priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
  • Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention.
  • Develop and implement a measurable individualized plan of care within the established time frames.
  • Make nursing decisions based on evaluations of patient outcomes and modify care plans as needed.
  • Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and significant others.
  • Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
  • BLS, ACLS, and TNCC Certification required.
  • Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served.
  • Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care.
  • Communicates in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of the patient.
