Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine procedures, primarily focusing on PET, but may cover additional nuclear medicine as necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures for handling radioactive materials.
Participate in on-call rotations and be available for call duties post-shift and on rotating weekends.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results, using EPIC for documentation.
Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
Assist with patient preparation and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.

Qualifications

Valid ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification with a current California license.
Minimum of one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech, including six months of PET experience.
BLS certification required.
Experience with Siemens equipment preferred; familiarity with other imaging systems advantageous.
Prior use of EPIC charting system highly preferred.
Willingness to accommodate variable shift start times and rotational weekend coverage.
