Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for premature and low birth weight babies.
- Stabilize and transfer infants below 32 weeks as needed.
- Attend and assist in high and low-risk deliveries.
- Ensure safe postpartum couplet care when applicable.
- Administer and manage TPN, lipids, and standard drips.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Respiratory Therapists.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years NICU experience (Level II NICU preferred).
- Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
- Experience with bubble CPAP, vents, and high flow oxygen equipment.
- Competency in managing couplet care and attending various deliveries.
- Adaptable to unit's workflows, policies, and procedures.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.
