Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in a Level 3 NICU setting.
- Assist in high-risk deliveries and manage post-delivery respiratory interventions.
- Interpret and evaluate patient data and respond to critical situations promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic charting system.
- Be prepared to float within the facility as needed, providing care in various departments.
Qualifications
- Current WA state RRT license and ability to practice in the NICU environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU Level III or IV settings.
- Proficiency in managing respiratory devices such as BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilators.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, and advanced neonatal care preferred.
- Experience with trauma Level I and II, and familiarity with respiratory therapy techniques.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with teams for optimal patient outcomes.
