Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures as prescribed by physicians, including floor care, and ER duties.
• Participate in code response and rapid response as needed.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records using Epic.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to respiratory care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure continuity of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist license in hand.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS preferred.
• Experience with Aerosol setup, BiPAP, CPAP, and ABG interpretation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting; Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Ability to float between units and adapt to varying patient acuity levels.
