Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services - Surgical First Assist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide surgical assistance and support to surgeons and the medical team.
Maintain a sterile surgical environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
Utilize proficiency in neurological and plastic surgical procedures.
Oversee patient preparation before and during surgical procedures.
Contribute to accurate documentation and charting using Cerner systems.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

Current BLS and NBSTSA certifications.
Minimum of two years of surgical first assist experience required.
Demonstrated experience in neuro and plastics surgeries.
Previous travel experience mandatory.
Competence in charting systems, specifically Cerner.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
