Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced respiratory care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in NICU settings.
- Operate high frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement patient care strategies.
- Perform and interpret arterial blood gases and other diagnostic tests.
- Support emergency procedures and high-risk deliveries as required.
- Ensure compliance with all facility and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current NC RRT license and a minimum of 2 years of NICU or PICU experience.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
- Proficiency in using Epic charting systems.
- Experience in Level IV NICU and with pediatric cardiac anomalies.
- Ability to work 6 weekend shifts per schedule block as required.
- Ability to respond promptly and responsibly to compliance deadlines.
