Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments and simulations according to radiation oncologist prescriptions.
• Assist in treatment planning procedures, including tumor localization and dosimetry.
• Maintain accurate schedules and ensure patients are seen promptly.
• Prepare rooms and equipment, providing a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Perform accurate documentation and weekly chart checks as required.
• Observe radiation safety measures for patients and personnel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Basic computer knowledge and effective communication skills.
• Preferred minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or treatment center environment.
• ARRT (T) certification required.
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certificate with the Texas Medical Board.
• Maintain current BLS certification (AHA only).
