Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures in various settings including floor care, ER, and critical care areas.
• Respond to codes and rapid response calls, providing immediate respiratory support as needed.
• Administer aerosol therapy treatments and provide ventilation management, including CPAP and BiPAP.
• Conduct arterial blood gas analysis and adjust treatments based on results.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and document care in the Epic charting system.
• Float between units as required, adapting to patient needs and unit requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Valid Washington State license in hand.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a trauma level environment.
• Proficiency in respiratory therapy equipment and procedures, including aerosol treatments and ventilation management.
• Experience with Epic charting and ability to respond effectively to codes and rapid response calls.
