Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist, Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders with precision and effectiveness.
• Provide ventilator management following best practices in critical care settings.
• Serve as a solo respiratory therapist covering a 25-bed/trauma level 4 facility, including ICU and Med/Surg units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the EPIC system.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of Oregon.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
• Minimum of three years of respiratory therapy experience in diverse clinical settings.
• Proficiency in using mechanical ventilators, including Draeger and Hamilton models.
• Experience working with critical care patients and participating in trauma level 4 environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage solo shifts effectively.
