Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in a 12-bed SICU with a 1RN:2 patient ratio, adhering to standard ICU practices.
• Utilize standard critical care equipment, including Impella and Hemosphere advance monitoring platform.
• Document patient information using Meditech system accurately.
• Participate in flexible scheduling, including a minimum of 3 weekend shifts per month.
• Ensure patient satisfaction by explaining care and medications and responding to call lights promptly.
• Float to other units such as PCU/Medical surgical as required to ensure optimal staffing.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of two years ICU and cardiac critical care nursing experience.
• Ability to manage postoperative care for cardiac patients one to two days out of surgery.
• Knowledgeable in the use of Impella heart pump and experience with CRRT.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; CCRN preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills with proficiency in responding to rapid and code blue situations.
