Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients, including high-frequency jet ventilation and oscillating ventilation systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, and implement respiratory care plans.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
• Document patient assessment, treatment, and progress in the electronic charting system accurately and timely.
• Participate in high-risk deliveries and provide care for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols as per facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics including ED.
• Current North Carolina RRT license or compact license in hand.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
• Experience with Level IV NICU and familiarity with pediatric cardiac anomalies.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system.
• Available to work weekends, with 6 weekend shifts per schedule block.
