Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care respiratory therapy to adult and pediatric patients in various units including ED.
• Perform ABGs and CBGs in intensive care units and assist with EKG department needs during night shifts.
• Collaborate with neonatal and hospitalist teams to ensure 24/7 patient care.
• Assist with intubation and may place laryngeal airways during code blue situations.
• Engage in department-specific orientation and clock in/out protocols as required.
• Participate in a rotating schedule, including every third weekend and every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Current State of Wisconsin RT license or ability to obtain (6 to 8 weeks process).
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care and trauma level 2 or 3 experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT via NBRC.
• Experience with inpatient and emergency department settings.
• Proficiency with respiratory equipment including Servo U, V-60, and Vapotherm.
• Willingness to work as a first-time traveler and in travel duos.
