Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates in a Level IV NICU setting.
- Manage ventilator and tracheostomy care, including telemetry and pulmonary artery lines.
- Perform umbilical and central line procedures with precision and care.
- Float to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) as needed.
- Utilize Epic EMR system to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients closely for adverse reactions.
Qualifications
- Active California RN License with BSN required.
- Certification in AHA BLS and NRP required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Level IV NICU.
- Competency in vent management, trach management, and telemetry essential.
- Proven ability to float to PICU and CICU required.
- Experience with UVCs, UACs, and advanced NICU care preferred.
