Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech - Cardiology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Assist the cardiology team in the cath lab with various procedures such as heart caths, interventions, and EP ablations.
Operate and maintain equipment such as IABP, Impella, stents, and IVUS.
Monitor patient vitals and maintain a 1:1 patient ratio for optimal care.
Respond to on-call situations within a 30-minute timeframe as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including RNs and monitor techs, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document patient data and procedures in the Meditech EMR system.

Qualifications

Current ACLS certification is required.
Proven experience with IABP and Impella equipment.
Interventional peripheral and coronary cath experience is essential.
Familiarity with procedures such as pacemakers and AICD installations.
Ability to adapt to different areas such as IR, ICU, and pre/post PACU as needed.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
