Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during antepartum, intrapatum, postpartum, and neonatal phases.
- Apply the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in planning safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care effectively.
Qualifications
- Active RN license with 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
- Ability to utilize MedHost (inpatient) and GE Centricity (OB) EMR systems.
- Strong critical thinking and scientific judgment capabilities.
- Ability to work night shifts from 6:30p-7a on a 13-week assignment.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
