Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist.
• Utilize and operate Philips IR table equipment effectively during procedures.
• Document patient information in the Meditech system accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient scheduling and treatment delivery.
• Participate in call rotations as required, approximately one week per month.
• Maintain a high level of patient care and safety during all procedures, including neuro procedures.

Qualifications

• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Experience with Meditech documentation systems preferred.
• Familiarity with procedures such as Y90, prostate embolism, tunneled catheter, thoracentisis, and paracentisis.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience in a similar role, with neuro experience preferred.
