Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor fetal heart rates and administer appropriate interventions
- Provide care for high-risk pregnancies and laboring clients
- Assist with vaginal and C-section deliveries
- Conduct sterile vaginal exams as needed
- Float to postpartum unit for couplet care if necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery nursing experience
- Current CA RN license and required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
- AWHONN Advanced certification or NCC EFM certification
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Ability to float to the postpartum unit as needed
- Open to weekend shifts and flexible scheduling
