Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, L&D to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers, including monitoring fetal development.
- Assist in cesarean sections as a circulating nurse.
- Manage labor inductions utilizing cook catheters or medications like cervidil and oxytocin.
- Conduct sterile vaginal exams and support epidural administration.
- Perform IV insertions and lab draws effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with fellow team members ensuring a team-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Current KY or compact state RN license at time of submission.
- Minimum of 3 years labor and delivery experience required.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a 2:1 patient ratio in labor and delivery.
- Proficiency with Meditech Expanse and Centricity Perinatal EMR systems.
- Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
