Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, PICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to neonates, infants, and adult patients with cardiac disease.
- Manage care for intubated and ventilated patients post-operatively.
- Administer inotropes and vasoactive medications effectively.
- Implement standard care practices aimed at CLABSI reduction through the use of central, arterial lines, and PIVs.
- Accommodate patient care with possible Berlin and Heartmate exposure.
- Maintain a 1:2 nurse-patient ratio and handle transfers and admissions within the same shift.
Qualifications
- Current valid RN license in Ohio or a compact state; must provide single state ON or multi-state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; certificates must be included in submission profile.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
- Epic charting system experience is preferred.
- References from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required.
