Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered care with an emphasis on post-op cancer interventions.
Manage patient assignments with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
Titrate drips such as heparin, lidocaine, and TPN for optimal patient outcomes.
Conduct thorough and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Ensure compliance with fingernail and dress code policies in patient care areas.
Collaborate effectively with charge nurses and house supervisors.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license and BLS certification (AHA).
Strong communication skills and patient-centered care focus required.
Experience with medical-surgical oncology preferred.
Ability to work every third weekend and rotate holidays as scheduled.
No requirement to administer chemotherapy; competency not needed.
Comfortable adapting documentation practices to EPIC system.
