Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in acute care and rehabilitation settings.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide therapeutic treatments, including edema massage and functional activities, tailored to meet patient needs.
- Document patient progress and treatments using the Epic charting system.
- Adapt to floating between various units including ICU, medical, and inpatient rehab facilities.
- Maintain productivity standards by managing a caseload of 8-9 patients per day.
Qualifications
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in Washington state is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is essential.
- Proficiency in using the Epic charting system is preferred.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation is advantageous.
- Strong team-player with excellent time management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying diagnoses including multi-trauma, stroke, and orthopedic conditions.
