Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting, adhering to the plans established by the care team.
• Document patient responses to treatment and progress accurately using the facility’s charting system, Epic.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan of care.
• Maintain communication with patients and families regarding care plans and rehabilitation goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
• Adapt to facility needs by floating within scope to sister facilities when required.

Qualifications

• A valid South Carolina or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License required at start of contract.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• At least 1 year of prior inpatient experience required; open to first-time travelers with relevant experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Capacity to work one weekend per month and negotiate shift hours if necessary.
• Willingness to be on-call during hurricane season from June through November.
