Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Perform large-bore IV starts, medication administration, and comprehensive skin assessments.
• Assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement.
• Collaborate with surgical teams during patient transport to the OR and assist with induction/intubation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Cerner system.
• Stay updated with current practices and participate in ongoing staff training.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Proven critical care experience; CVOR or PreOp experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with intra and interdepartmental teams.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in the use of equipment such as GE Carescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound.
