Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services in an outpatient/inpatient setting.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and goals.
- Assist with weekend coverage as scheduled and provide continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress using Epic charting.
Qualifications
- Valid California Occupational Therapy license.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in outpatient or inpatient occupational therapy settings.
- Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred.
- Experience with activities of daily living, adaptive equipment, and cognitive assessments.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and family education.
