Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform pulmonary function testing including 6-minute walk tests and oxygen titrations
- Obtain arterial blood gas samples and interpret results
- Administer respiratory therapies including aerosol setups and metered dose inhalers
- Operate pulmonary function test diagnostic systems effectively
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in the EPIC charting system
Qualifications
- Current NC RRT license in hand
- Minimum of 1 year of pulmonary function lab experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
