Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified MRI Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during MRI procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists to determine the most appropriate images needed for diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate records on patient information, equipment settings, and diagnostics conducted.
- Ensure MRI safety standards are adhered to and assist with the use of contrast media.
- Perform basic MRI post-processing applications and image assessment.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT MR certification; valid state licensure where appropriate.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a MRI Tech in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center required.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
