Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient care to patients in a 20-bed stepdown/med-surg unit.
• Manage an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:3 in stepdown and 1:5-6 on the floor.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone.
• Monitor patients with respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain.
• Work alongside house supervisor and nurse aids to maintain patient safety.
• Operate and manage RT equipment, including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing without restrictions.
• Stepdown experience required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to interpret telemetry readings with monitoring facilitated at Ruby.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC charting system preferred.
