Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care to cardiovascular surgical patients.
• Assist in various cardiovascular procedures, including CABG, AVR, AAA, and MVR.
• Effectively communicate with patients and the healthcare team during the perioperative process.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system.
• Participate in call rotation, covering at least one weekend per month and five weekday evenings per month.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Washington or Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with specific EPIC charting experience required.
• BLS certification required; preferred certifications include ACLS, CNOR, PALS, and TNCC.
• Ability and willingness to float to Main OR as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• No local candidates accepted; must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule.
