Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified OT Outpatient Hand Specialist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat general occupational therapy adult and complex hand injuries.
• Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans including therapeutic exercises.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float to other units as needed to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• Valid and active NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient occupational therapy.
• Experience in treating adult and hand injuries required; lymphedema and oncology treatment experience helpful.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Cerner or equivalent charting systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions.
• Ability to manage patient care effectively within a critical access facility.
