Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to develop treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapy and report any adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes and at-home care guidelines.
• Ensure all treatments comply with state and federal regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Radiation Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• Minimum of one year experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting.
• Strong understanding of patient safety and radiation protection principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation.
