Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients admitted to the hospital with a strong rehabilitation focus.
• Administer physical therapy treatments designed to improve mobility and physical capability.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize all lift equipment and large rehab gym equipment available.
• Float to nearby units like Eckerd Living Center if needed during shifts.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience with Cerner electronic documentation system preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver focused rehabilitation treatment services.
• Strong communication and patient care planning skills.
