Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for neonates and infants in a Level III and IV NICU setting.
- Administer and manage medications, including IV vasopressors and antibiotics.
- Monitor and manage advanced respiratory therapies, including high flow nasal cannula and ventilator management.
- Support patient development through therapeutic care and breastfeeding assistance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float to other UCSF units as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
Qualifications
- Current California RN License.
- Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Levels III & IV NICU settings.
- Experience in PICU and pediatrics is preferred.
- Prior experience with Epic charting system is required.
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
