Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrubbing duties in the CVOR and assist with surgical procedures.
• Administer care by accurately interpreting EKG strips and responding appropriately.
• Participate actively in a fast-paced environment focusing on cardiac surgeries like CABG and valves.
• Adhere to rotating holiday and weekend call schedules, covering 3 weekend shifts per month.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CSTs, and other OR staff for efficient workflow in a 4-suite facility.
• Engage in floor-specific orientation under the guidance of preceptor staff to ensure readiness.

Qualifications

• Current, valid nursing license for the state of California.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Minimum of 2 years CVOR experience; must be proficient in scrubbing.
• Experience with the Cerner EMR system preferred.
• Able to manage the stress of busy, high-pressure situations confidently.
• First-time traveler friendly; ability to work varied 10-hour shifts with call obligations.
