Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Nurse Manager to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and patient flow in the acute care setting.
- Manage staffing schedules to meet patient care needs, including first-to-float and every other weekend coverage.
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and protocols, utilizing the Cerner charting system.
- Implement hospital policies, including a cancellation policy of 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
- Lead interdisciplinary care teams in a Level II trauma center environment.
- Provide effective communication within the care team and support professional development among staff.
Qualifications
- Current RN license with eligibility to practice in the state of California.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required.
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS.
- Experience in acute care settings, including managing night shifts and float assignments.
- Competence in using the Cerner charting system.
- Proven leadership and communication skills within a clinical environment.
