Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy - Acute Care OT to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and treatments for general acute care patients.
- Assess and enhance patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation through the Epic charting system.
- Follow all facility protocols and regulatory guidelines for patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in acute care.
- Valid California Occupational Therapist License.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Proficient in using the Epic charting system.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
